How to correctly adjust your e-bike to your height.

Tips for saddle height, handlebar position and more

Correctly adjusting an e-bike to your height is an important component for a comfortable and safe ride. Here are some basic tips on how to optimally adjust an e-bike.

Adjust saddle height

The saddle height should be adjusted so that the leg is slightly extended at the lowest crank position. This optimizes power transmission and reduces fatigue or injury.

Saddle position

Ideally, the saddle should be adjusted horizontally, whereby the saddle nose can be lowered slightly to take pressure off the front area, depending on your preferences.

Brake lever

The brake lever should be adjusted so that it can be operated with one finger without bending the wrist. However, it is highly advisable to operate the brake with more than one finger in everyday use.

Saddle position above the pedal axle

The saddle should be positioned so that the kneecap is vertically above the pedal axle when the pedal is in the horizontal position. This promotes efficient pedal movement and pressure transmission.

Handlebar position

The handlebar position should be adjusted so that there is about 2-5 cm of space between the tip of the middle finger and the handlebar.

Handlebar tilt

The optimum handlebar tilt is when the middle of the forearm and the middle finger joint are in line while gripping the handlebars.
